Glazed Pecans Pie Recipe


9 egg whites
300 g sugar
4 tbls pecan nuts shredded
6 tbls flour
12 tbs sugar
250 g butter
9 egg yolks
9 tbs sugar
300 roasted pecan nuts, chopped
250 g dark chocolate melted
250 g white chocolate melted
100 ml milk


Step 01

Whisk egg whites with 300 g sugar until stiff. Add the pecan nuts and stir easily, from down to top. Bit by bit add the flour and stir from each addition.Bake for 30 min.

Step 02

Place white chocolate in a bowl and pour boiling milk over it, stirring until smooth. Do the same for the dark chocolate.

Step 03

Add 12 tbls of sugar in a pan and cook it till it melts. When the sugar reached a deep brown colour, take aside. Soften the butter to room temperature. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold the butter mix over the caramel, then add the pecan nuts.

Step 04

When the layer is cool, glaze it with white chocolate melted.Set aside and let it cool.Add the caramel filling then set aside and let it cool. Top with melted dark chocolate.
