Snowball Cake (1968)
1 cup coconut
1 angel food cake
3 pkg. dream whip topping made by directions
1 can crushed pineapples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup boiling water
6oz. of lemon jello
4 tbsp. cold water
extra coconut for topping
Break angle food cake into small pieces and set aside.
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add cold water, lemon juice, pineapple and coconut let mixture cool while preparing 2 pkg of dream whip. Fold in dream whip to jello mixture. Add cake pieces mix gently. Pour into a bowl lined with wax paper. Chill over night. Remove from refrigerator and turn out of bowl on to a serving plate. Remove wax paper and discard. Mix 1 pkg. of dream whip according to directions and spread on cake. Sprinkle with coconut. Cake needs refrigerating until serving.
